FB feed : an image is not shown

    Hi!
    As you can see, there is no image for the video associated to the post :
    “Quatre membres de Delphis sont allés plonger le Haven dans la baie de Gênes, une petite vidéo qui ”
    At the same time a similar post shows an image in the feed :
    “Après l’exploration du Haven, Delphis retrouve l’eau douce au lac du Bourget. Petite vidéo en fin de”

    I don(t no why.

    Hi @bcaro,

    Make sure you are running the latest version of the Feed Them Social plugin (currently 2.9.6.5). We have addressed some of the many FB shared content issues.

    One shared content issue, is that FB has deemed any root post image/video/link will not come across the FB API if the root post comes from a user with privacy settings enabled or violates any FB guidelines. The image/video/link will show up fine within Facebook itself, but FB is more restrictive about the content they allow out through their API.

    The best way to test this, is to 1) have the FTS plugin updated, 2) clear the FTS cache 3) Manually clear any caching plugins that you have installed 4) upload an image/video directly (non-share) that you own. If your test image shows up in the WP feed and the previous image/video has not, then that video runs afoul of the FB API restrictions.
