FB login fails

  • Getting this when people (who are already logged into FB log in). Twitter login works fine.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or ‘(‘ in /home/content/87/4801887/html/[site path here]/plugins/wordpress-social-login/hybridauth/Hybrid/Providers/Facebook.php on line 11

    Facebook now requires PHP 5.4 or above. Check with your webhost whether you can upgrade to newer version.

    thx, its PHP 5 but I’ll ask if its specifically 5.4

    My service provider uses PHP 5.6.17 and I’m having the same Facebook login problem.

    When checking the forum I see that this problem exists since February.

    Surely this issue can be solved, Miled?

    Please help.
