• FB is changing their API and apps, but their Mobile API still allows access to groups. Hopefully, they will not stop soon

The mobile API still works perfect with the SNAP plugin, which offers auto publishing via Auth Token (in Advanced settings)

Use anther social plugin (there are many ways though) to generate auth token that does not expire simply using your FB user/pass for the mobile API.

Enter the generated token in advanced settings and voala, posting to groups + comment sync works again.

Run it for a week with no problem now, though seems the posting Fb account has to be active as a normal human (mobile) FB profile. If you just auto post, FB tells you someone else has logged into your profile, then you have to change password and generate a new token.

This is posted in hope to help others who use the plugin as confirmed mobile API workaround of the now incredibly completed FB apps API. However, we do appreciate the work this plugin does, so if the developers find this post contrary to their marketing strategy, they can delete it…

@bibliata could you please stop advertising competitors products on our support forums?

We will include support for FB mobile API in SNAP. Tokens generated by wpweb products will be banned.

SNAP has a support for “Third Party Tokens” since version 3.7.13 [Jan 24, 2017]. A lot of people are using it. There are much better and easier ways (mobile API is just one of them) to get a token other then to suggest our users to buy the competitors product.

PS: Developers have no control over this forum. We can’t delete anything from here.

@nextscripts thanks for your reply. Could you please tell the other ways of getting valid token for the plugin? I’ve tried to use the token for the mobile API but the plugin posts only to personal accounts with it (and makes duplicates). Tokens generated by developers.facebook also do not work for pages.
