• Hi,

I’ve activated the plugin and all seems to work fine.
Until I go to a product page and click the “add to cart” button.

Which it then states the code is fired twice.
On further inspection with the FB pixel helper, it states everything is loaded twice. (although it only gives a warning with the add to cart one on initial load)

I’ve already checked every possible place where this extra FB pixel code might be placed. But there is none to be found. When I disable the plugin no FB pixel is loaded.

We also have a caching plugin but this is disabled.
I saw in another thread this might have something to do with the theme.
So I’ve changed the theme and it seems to work properly.

But where do I need to look in order to find where the issue lies?
Can you please help me where I need to look in order to get this fixed?

    Thank you

    Hi Joris,

It’s definitely a problem with the theme, but I can’t tell what is wrong.

What theme do you use? I’ll try to replicate it and look for some solution, if possible.

    Hi,

    We use the Shopkeeper theme.

    Hi again,

I noticed it was only firing twice with the “add to cart” button.
Probably because button presses are tracked and the “add to cart” button is also being tracked. Which might cause the double firing.

Once I’ve deactivated the tracking of the “add to cart” it doesn’t fire twice anymore. But the “Add to cart” button tracking has more information attached to it.

Is there a problem if both the standard button press is tracked and the “add to cart” button is tracked? Does this cause any problems in the Facebook analytics? or can this warning be ignored?

    Please let me know.

    Thank you

Sorry for the late reply. Please let me know if you still need a solution for this. Do I understand correctly that you manage to fix the problem?
