Facebook recently updated their API’s where for the most up to date and accurate counts they now require authentication to fetch Share Counts.
We have a solution for this where you can enter your Facebook credentials that will enable authenticated API calls to fetch the most accurate Share Counts from Facebook. One solution that you can host (free) and the other that is hosted in the cloud by us (paid) and our servers do all the heavy lifting. The one that we host has some advantages that are detailed here. The choice is yours.
