FE Order by dropdown for different taxonomies

    Hello there,

    I have a Custom Post Type with different taxonomies associated. I’m showing the posts in the front end using a custom WP_Query and I want the user to decide which taxonomy to use for ordering the posts. I set the front end environment (dropdown, GET variable, ecc.) but I don’t understand what value I have to use with the “orderby” parameter in the WP_Query function.
    I read the FAQ but I didn’t get it, I’m sorry. Is there anyone who can help? Thank you.

    Hi limbaccio,

    I can understand the confusion. This plugin is for ordering categories, tags, terms and taxonomies. It does not order posts. For ordering the posts themselves you want a different plugin.

    This plugin can be used for example on your blog post, when a post is in 5 different categories, like “holiday, summer, islands, sun, tourism”. With this plugin you can change the sort order of these categories.
