FEA reaquest: Flags as css sprites for performance issues

    Hi,

    you made a great plugin. Though the translations are sometimes not near to perfect (done by google) it is a big help for foreign readers to get an idea what I’m writing about.

    I’m doing a pagespeed optimization from while to while and got some recommendations. One of them (giving me a bad ranking) is that the flags are not combined to a css sprite.

    Is there a chance to get a feature built in to combine the used flags (or all) using css sprites?

    Hi,

    Previously we were using CSS sprites in our older versions, but with HTTP/2 it is not required. If your server supports HTTP/2 you should not have any issues. If it doesn’t support it yet, you can use Cloudflare free service.

    You can measure your site load speed with GTranslate and without it to see if it has any impact.
