    Hi,

Your plugin looks interesting and was wondering whether it can help me to adapt another plugin more safely:
    https://wpjobmanager.com/document/changing-login-redirects/

For me to customize the login screen for that plugin, the user is expected to modify the theme functions.php file. Can your interesting looking plugin help me to change it safely? If so, how?

When I tried to modify the functions.php file by adding those snippets to it, my website was completely inaccessible and broke. Therefore I am anxious to make the desired changes using the snippets in a safer way.
    I am inexperienced.

    Kind regards,

    Yunis

Is there are a specific snippet you’re having an issue with?

Keep in mind that if you do accidentally make an error in a snippet, you can always enable safe mode so you can go and fix the error.

    Hi Shea,

I am having an issue with the snippets on the following page:
    https://wpjobmanager.com/document/changing-login-redirects/

How do I incorporate the snippet at Resume Manager /Submit Resume Page to give users login screen without WordPress reminder?

    Kind regards,

    Yunis

    Hi Yunis,

I’m not really sure what you mean by “give users login screen without WordPress reminder”. Do you have a custom login page that you want to users to use instead of the default WordPress one? Or can you specify what reminder exactly you would like to get rid of?

Any of these snippets should work fine with the Code Snippets plugin.

    Hi Shea,

According to the writer of the following plugin, I can remove a preview button by pasting the code as seen here:

    https://wpjobmanager.com/document/remove-the-preview-step/

When I try to achieve this by copying and pasting it using the Code Snippets plugin, nothing changes. The ‘preview’ button is still at the bottom of page when it should change into ‘Submit Job’.

    What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for providing a link to the actual code you used, as well as screenshots. It’s super helpful for working out where the issue is.

I tried setting up the WP Job Manager on my test site and added the code snippets, and it seems to be working as expected. So at least we know it’s not an issue with the snippet or the plugins.

I notice that you’re using the W3 Total Cache plugin; have you tried emptying all caches? And also make sure you’re on the latest version of WP Job Manager (version 1.22.3), as not all parts of the snippet will work with older versions.
