feather_share doesn't share, just takes me to facebook

    thanks for doing this plugin. much appreciated.

    2 issues im having.

    1.
    I’ve setup FB and twitter accounts & ticked the “Share long URL” option & selected use on pages, posts, images.

    But, when using [feather_share], the link simple takes me to the FB page link, it doesn’t “share a url” or show any share information.

    2. Icons/links for the social accounts are not automatically appearing after posts

    Any ideas.

  • I’m thinking you probably set the incorrect links for you social profiles, you placed them under “Share Link” instead of “Follow Link”, please watch the video tutorial.

    To enable icons automatically appearing you have to activate them in the settings, under Settings -> Social Media, “Automatic Display”. Again the video above shows this.

    The social profiles are set to follow. I’ve tried both follow and “share & follow”.
    Same problem.

    No, I think you’re confusing things. I’m saying there are 2 separate input fields for certain social networks, one is called for instance “Facebook Share Link” (and it says you generally don’t need to change this) and the other is called “Facebook Follow Link” and this is the link to your facebook page. I think what you did is placed the link of your facebook page under “Faceboo Share Link” instead of “Facebook Follow Link”.
