    Ahoy!

I set my featured category and the featured post count maximum to four. There are two slider tabs (an arrow to the left and right of the featured posts on the front page) that can be clicked to show the next post, but the posts don’t automatically slide like a slideshow on their own. Maybe they aren’t supposed to and I just misunderstood, but if they are, is there something I can do to fix this?

Thank you so, so much!!! Hugs to you, Mr. Agnarson!

I should mention that I deactivated all of my plugins to see if one of them might be to blame, but no such luck.

    Hi Mrs. T.
I’m not Alx, but a big fun of his Hueman theme – so doing some support (seems like a great support community gathered around ??
So, to spare some of his time:
PLS read more carefully following posts from this forum:
    1- https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/automatic-slideshow-2?replies=4
    – basic
    2-https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/hueman-slider?replies=9
    – just 1 line of PhP in child theme
    3- https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/slider-automatic-change?replies=4
-similar – more sophisticated – you can change delay in millisec.

NOTICE – There’s more on this forum, but you must now how to use child theme (and PhP files, including).
From your post, I see that you haven’t created 4 posts (only 2) belonging to category that has “featured” slug (you can call category anyhow, but “featured” slug is “a must”).
To make it scroll – 1 line in “Featured.php” child file.
OK – not a propaganda – my website made in modified Hueman theme https://www.orangefreesounds.com/ – everything scrolling – if you can find my “child” style.css and belonging PhP (“\hueman-child\inc\featured.php) – you can learn some more tricks (it’s not hidden ??
Yes – no need to deactivate plugins…
Any further info – just leave a post here.
If not – mark this thread as “resolved”.
    Cheers,
    -Mike-

Mike, thank you so much for your help! I really, really appreciate it and apologize for not finding the resolution within the support board already. I am not completely sure how to search just the Hueman support instead of all of WordPress support, but I will find out soon enough I hope! ??

    Mrs. T.
Enjoy this great theme – we should all thank to author, Alex, for making it all open source + giving great support.
Basic support forum https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/hueman has at the moment 67 pages wit 1983 threads (!) – exploring all takes time, but you can all kind of “tricks & hacks” (most issues resolved) – just do it!
No need to apologize, was glad to help ??
    Have fun!

    Hello Admin,

I am using Hueman theme for https://www.elkeesmedia.com and very happy with the template. Actually I want to automatically slid (featured posts slider) after 30 sec or 1 minute.

I will be so great full, if someone help me out.

    Thanks in advance.

Well I’m not admin, but hello.

before stating question, 1st read carefully 2 links I stated above.
    1- https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/automatic-slideshow-2?replies=4
    2- https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/slider-automatic-change?replies=4

    What Alex hasn’t precisely stated:
    – for delay you should change in featured.php line
    “slideshowSpeed: 7000,” (7000 millisecs., that’s default)
So play with this value – second, minutes, hours…
Advice – don’t do it without child theme and properly placed php file – or you’ll make a mess.
