Feature a particular comment to top

  • Hello guys…could anyone please suggest me an easy hack to kind of feature a specific comment to the top of all comments, irrespective of dates. Please click here to take a look at my comment structure.

    I just do not want to use a plugin for this. Moreover the one plugin that i found was updated like ages ago. I am pretty sure there is an easy fix to this through some template modification.

  • Hi there,
    Depending on how you are retrieving your comments list, you could use [[get comments}] and fetch the desired comment by post ID, and then list your other comments after it.
    You would need to exclude the “featured” comment from the second comment list to avoid repeating it.
