Feature image not appearing on home page

I have just done some updates to my website. I have a portfolio of work in the theme Infinity, where I add each project with a featured image that appears in the static Home Page or under Work. This has worked smoothly till now. On my desktop the featured thumbnail pics don’t show up at all, but on my iPhone they are all visible. I also seem to be unable to add videos to my projects now. I wonder if anything has changed in the Infinity theme. I saw that it has not been updated for 2 years. Or could this be a plugin problem? I downloaded Health check and disabled + enabled plugins but could not detect any problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are using a commercial theme called Infinity: https://themetrust.com/wordpress-themes/infinity/
Since no commercial products are supported in this forum, I would ask you to contact the support of the theme manufacturer.
One hint though: the reason for the error seems to be an incompatibility of the theme with the current WordPress version. You can see this in the developer console of the browser because there is a corresponding error message which in turn prevents the images from being displayed. This must be solved by the theme creator.
