    Hi,
    I recently updated plugin. But now the variants image is showing instead of the feature image for the product.
    This is no good for me – The feature image is the main product image and variants just show frame wood type.

    I tried to set change the setting on the product admin page – BUT the setting are not showing in the usual Product Data Box (Actually Facebook Tab” appears for a few seconds, then disappears.

    I do see a Facebook Box on right of product admin area – but this just shows Facebook ID with options to Reset Facebook Metadata and Delete Products on Facebook.

    WHERE do I get option to select Feature image as Facebook shop image?

    I’m sorry to hear that the plugin isn’t working as expected after the update.

    I believe you’ll find what you’re looking for on the Product page. When editing a product, you can navigate to the Facebook tab for simple products or the Variations tab for variable products to manage Facebook settings.

    Thanks for reply, but as I said in the original post – The “Facebook” tab appears on page load for a second… then disappears.

    Ah, now I understand. Thanks for sending the video, that’s helpful to see!

    Could you please try logging into your site using a “private” or “incognito” window, or using a different browser, and see if the error happens there as well?

    Sorry Benjamin,
    But I was out ill and didnt get chance to update this query.

    It is still happening. I tried looking at the facebook page in incognito – and the images are still not showing. Just a random variation image of a frame.

    That’s not a problem at all – I’m still happy to help!

    As a next step, I’d like to try to rule out a theme conflict causing the issue here. Would you please temporarily switch to a default theme, such as Twenty Nineteen or Storefront, and let me know if the issue persists?

    Hi Benjamin,

    I have set up a staging site to test it out.
    The Facebook tab is again first appearing and then when the page loads fully it disappears as in the video I submitted before.

    I tried 2020 theme and storefront – still happens.
    I tried disabling all plugins except for Facebook for woocommerce and woocommerce – still happens.
    I tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin – still happens.

    Thanks for trying all that for me. Sorry to hear it didn’t fix the problem!

    I do want to circle back around on the above – did you try logging in to your website in a different browser, or in a private/incognito mode to see if the issue persists there?

    If that doesn’t work, could you please try clicking the “Reset Facebook metadata” link over in that Facebook box at the right side of the page, then making sure everything is set correctly for that product in WooCommerce, then syncing to Facebook?

    Hi,
    I tried logging in incognito and from Firefox – Still same result.

    I reset Facebook Metadata, checked everything, then updated page – Again the Facebook Tab appears for only a few seconds then when page reloads fully – it dissapears.

    Thanks for sticking with me through all these steps. I have some more for you to try ??

    Could you please try making a new product and seeing if it works with the new one? Then, if the issue persists, try deactivating everything again and then make another new product and see if it works?

    As soon as I switch from a Simpole Product to a variable product I can see the Facebook tab dissapear and if i change back to simple – it reappears.

    Would you mind please sharing your site’s system status report with me? You can do so by heading to WooCommerce > Status and clicking the “Get System Report” then “Copy for support” buttons to copy the support-friendly version of the report. You can then paste this into a tool like Snippi or directly in a reply here.

    Hi I have sent the information to support.

    I do hope its resolved soon. Its a commercial site and this isuue has been ongoing for weeks.
    If it can’t be fixed I’d like to know so I can look for an alternative method.
