Feature Image on Blog Page not working

Previous posts (August 15th, 2018 and prior) successfully post on the blog page with a feature image. The site is using Posts for Page plugin with shortcode to pull in the posts, but it hasn’t been working lately. The only way I was able to get it to show on the page was by including the media in the actual body of the post. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If so, what can I do to get the feature image to be used on the blog page?
