Feature product not wordking correcly

Hey @aganis,

I have a store with many products (+160), when I add a featured product block in post and i search a product some of them cannot be found, or id i can select them i receive an error “this block has generated an error and cannot be shown in preview “.

I understand the featured product block is throwing an error when you attempt to pick a product.

Were you previously able to use the featured product block without issue and have any changes been made to your website recently?

Additionally, could you please share your current System Status Report with us? You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.

Hi again @aganis,

the problem was encountered after the latest woocommerce update and woocommerce block (last 3 updates) before it worked

the problem is present on all my sites.
I thought it was the theme’s fault but the two sites have different templates and plugins

I tested this on my own site running WooCommerce Blocks 6.1.0, WooCommerce 5.8, and the Storefront theme. With this setup, I was unable to reproduce the issue you describe.

This kind of problem might be caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. I understand that this issue is affecting multiple sites with different themes and plugins installed, but these sites might share a commonality that is preventing WooCommerce Blocks from functioning properly.

The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Blocks
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Also tried with the theme you suggested (storefront) but the problem remains

I see the same problem with many products (greater than 100). I’ve gone ahead and logged this as a bug: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gutenberg-products-block/issues/4983

I cannot offer any workarounds at this point because it requires deeper investigation, but you can keep an eye on that issue for updates.
