Feature request

This is a very handy plugin.

I would like to request a feature. Having an Expiration date. One that would then be displayed on the front-end of the website (Valid until September 20, 2013) and after that expiration date passes, then the special no longer appears on the front-end, but remains in the back-end.

I’d be interested in helping int he development of this feature. Is the source code on Git?
