Feature request

  • Hi and many thanks for this plugin.
    Have not yet deployed it on our soon to launch eCom site, but have a few Q/requests if possible:

    [1] Is it possible to watermark only the images I want to watermark, in media library and as we upload them?

    [2] How will it work with a caching plugin and with a CDN? How will they know which image to use/deliver to visitor, if there are 2 [one with watermark, original without watermark]?

    [1] Yes. You can select a default (watermark/do not) but also change it for every single image. You can even remove the watermark later if you want to.

    [2] Caches normally don’t affect the image. It is tested with W3 TC. It depends on the CDN if it works or not. If the CDN is just caching the images, it should work. But the CDN won’t be notified if watermarks are added/removed later.
