Feature Request: 404 option

Sadly in today’s climate I’ve had to shut down numerous web sites for clients. For those to which I do not have FTP or terminal access, I use Under Construction to display a blank page. A very handy feature would be to include 404 in the list of status codes. I feel a 404 option (perhaps with an appropriate warning) would be a useful tool to help properly shut down a Web site with a custom farewell message until the DNS expires.
