    Hello,

    Excellent plugin. Works wonderfully.

I would like to request your consideration of a feature setting option.

We use Google Doc Embedder to display lots of PDFs online and normally when it is activated and a PDF is selected from the media library for insertion into the editor, GDE inserts a viewer link (and optionally a download link).

However, when PDF Image Generator is activated and a PDF is selected from the media library for insertion into the editor, it inserts its link and thus overrides the GDE link insertion.

It would be great if it would simply insert its link in addition to the GDE link rather than overriding the GDE link insertion.

Or if users could toggle on/off the link insertion feature so GDE could insert its link. Or somehow make it coexist with GDE so the user can choose which to insert.

Of if PDF Image Generator could detect GDE and offer the user the option to insert the GDE link or the PDF Image Generator link THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

There does not appear to be any conflict between GDE and PDF Image Generator as I can manually add a GDE link and it will work fine on a page or past along with a PDF Image Generator link.

Thank you for considering this feature request as it would be an excellent addition to your plugin.

    Thanks!

I updated the plugin to 1.4.0.

Please select “Default (Title)” from “Media” in Media Manager.
It does nothing to html and allows to insert GDE link.

I also added the option to select default insert size. If you usually use GDE link, set the option to “Default (Title)”.

Thank you for feedback and request.

    Hello Mizuho Ogino,

    I trust all is well.

    That is an AWESOME solution!

One suggestion, it may be helpful to users to consider adding a bit of help text or something so the user is informed how that setting works, what it does not do, etc.

Thank you so much for implementing it so quickly!

    Sincerely,
    Phil D

    Hi SooBahkDo.
    Thank you for your suggestion.

It’s difficult to identify which plugins are activated/deactivated and cause conflicts.
If I makes PIGEN associates with GDE or other similar plugins, I always have to chase updates of them.

I’ll write a note about other document viewer plugins on the readme.txt and the options page of PIGEN. In my opinion, it’s the better way to keep PIGEN simple and fine.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update if you have any suggestions.

    Thank you!
