    Hey guys, loving the newly updated version of duplicator, We practically use ti everyday here at EMC Themes!

    One thing that would be great is if support for the following files could be added to the “rename step”.

    wp-config.php – Replace %domainname%
    .htaccess
    wordfence-waf.php
    .user.ini

    We use a cookieless setup this their are additional custom settings within the “wp-config.php” file that requite the site’s URL’s, critically including setting the cookie domain (with out it being renamed after deployment you cant login)

    We also have code for CORES & Font in out “.htaccess” Awesome that requires the site url

    Our setups also includes wordfence active by default, the default file that contain the hhomepath e.g /home/username/ are “.user.ini” & “wordfence-waf.php”.

    I realise not every install will have thease files however if we could have a section (if it dosent alredy exist, if it does then My Apologies i have over looked it) that we can add additional files to be scanned when you process the re-nameing part of the deployment that would be fantastic.

    many thanks
    With warm and kind regards.
    Lee

  • Hi Lee,

    Thanks for the feedback! I’m not sure if I understand your request… It sounds like you want the following:

    1. A way to update the constant below in the wp-config?
    define( 'COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'www.example.com' );

    2. A way to prevent the files from being renamed at install time for .htaccess, .user.ini?

    Thxs~
