Just saw the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1jqufCBY5w
Really looking forward to being able to set multiple suppliers to each product.
Here are a list of features that should also be included:
    – Each time you update the Regular Price or For Sale Price, it will save the old price history by date keeping track of the previous price history. You can then graph or generate report of sale price over time.

The following features relate directly to suppliers:
    – For multiple suppliers, set one as the Primary Supplier. This one will be used to link information back to the main Stock Central dashboard.
    – Purchase link for each supplier. Takes you directly to that product on your suppliers website. This should also be included on Stock Central as another column or by clicking on purchase price.
    – Purchase price & date for each supplier. Prices change over time, rather than overwriting the old price add a new purchase price with a more recent date. That way you can track purchase price over time. This will link the most recent price from your primary supplier back to the purchase price on the stock central dashboard.
    – Report/graph of purchase price history over time. Ability to overlay purchase price from each supplier and sell price on the same graph. Here’s an example https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/JtgzK8/galax-geforce-gtx-1070-ti-8gb-ex-snpr-white-video-card-70ish6dhn1ws
    – Custom metadata for each supplier. Store custom information about the product and supplier that may be important. E.g. bulk discount price for large orders. Lead time or ETA for each of the suppliers.

Ability to add shipping cost as well as purchase price from supplier.

Ability to add supplier stock level. I can’t think of an easy way to automatically update this. But at least you could manually set this.
It could be added to import/export csv, that would probably be the easiest to semi-automate it.

    Hi jonathanemms,

Thank you very much for your requests.

All the above are pretty much already in the blue prints, but something that interest me:

    – Would you tell me why the need of a Primary supplier, please? Not that I don’t understand, but what industry/selling is this related to? Example would be great.

    – Suppliers stock levels are something we don’t think will work. I am sure your supplier is selling to more people and the value would change daily. Unless the supplier is running ATUM it will be very bad for UX.

If you have multiple suppliers for a particular then you might only want the dashboard to show the cost for the primary/default supplier. For example if it’s a local supplier in the same town it might be more convenient to set them as primary/default one compared to say a slightly cheaper one interstate. Also you may use the primary supplier for most of you’re other products as well, it may make sense to place order for multiple products from one supplier at the same time. The other suppliers might only be used if primary supplier is out of stock. Another possibility I can think of is if you have credit terms with one supplier it may be preferred to another supplier that only sells to you on a cash on order/delivery basis

The supplier stock level would give a rough indication only and not need to be 100% accurate. It would have to be manually updated every 24 hours and so importing csv would be best. The idea is if we are low on stock, we inform the customer and and provide an indication of the ETA and stock levels with supplier. Once we receive the order we will contact the customer if there is a delay, for example if the supplier stock sold out since we last updated.

    Hi Jonathanemms,

Thank you very much for your reply.

Now I know what you mean, sorry misunderstood I think the first time. Yes, this feature is already planned. The credit amount is a good idea, I have added that to the development plan too. Thank you.

I guess we could add a supplier stock amount field and play with it later on after we develop the first version of the Premium Add-on.

Once again, thank you very much for your suggestions.

    Thanks for your response again.
I’ve been thinking about installing the plugin. Wanted to do a bit of research first. While it doesn’t seem to have all the features I was hoping for/needed. It seems to have most of it on the roadmap. And it’s great to have active developers. With the premium subscription will I get all the add-ons when they are released instead of buying them individually?

    Hi there,

Global Premium Subscriptions will come later on as the road map is very big.

However, as we add more add-ons they will be available to buy as bundle offers.

    Hope this helps.
