It would be great to be able to choose how many posts/pages to display in the admin list. I searched to see if that was already in this forum and didn’t find it, so I hope I’m not beating a dead horse.

I manage a few sites that have hundreds of pages and thousands of posts, and it’s frequently an annoyance to have to click through those arrows to the next page as often as I do. I use the ‘search’ box daily, but sometimes I don’t remember the content on a particular page or post and don’t find what I’m looking for. Also, this would be helpful for seeing how the parent relationships are set up on large sections that cover a lot of pages. Something like a drop-down that allowed me to select 20, 40, 60, 80, or 100 would be fantastic.

I realize it’s a lot of work, and some of you fantastic core contributors don’t necessarily get paid to do what you’re doing– but if more people than just me are asking, maybe this could make it onto a list of ideas somewhere along the line. If it takes a year or more that’s fine– I’ve been fine up to this point without it. ?? I just thought it would be a useful option for more than just me.

  • You can already choose how many posts/pages show up on the admin list. Click the screen options tab and on the left side there is an input box with the default 20. You can enter any number you want or click the up / down arrows to change the setting. See this screenshot.
