    Hi Yoast,

    I have been using your excellent WordPress SEO plugin for years on clients websites and reported a bug on Github a few months back about about a firefox Bug causing Meta tags fields to be uneditable, overriding the default post metas and potentially causing pages to be published with blank titles and descriptions.

    Anyhow, I have a suggestion that I think would really benefit lots of your users. Add an abbreviated current month variable,eg: %%abvcurrentmonth%%

    Where %%current$$ month returns “January”, %%abvcurrentmonth%% would return “Jan”

    This would free up valuable title meta chars, providing real SEO benefit for all your users. As you know, a few chars can mean the difference between 1 and 0 keyword mentions in meta data.
