• I will be creating an NA site for our region but we have very different service organization and structure than AA.

I would like to suggest create a separate section within the add meeting creation form which can be displayed or disabled to select one or multiple languages. Basically separate language from the other meeting types.

My Language requests are for listing English as an option (wow!), adding German and as well Farsi.

Thanks again for the awesome service!
    Have a nice holidays!

  • Yes, I’ll do this at some point over the next few months. There’s a lot to think about here.

Multiple languages, because a meeting could have multiple selected, right?

How would it work on the front-end? Will your site be multi-lingual? If English is selected as the site language, should non-English meetings show up at all?

    Thanks again for everything!

The Vienna, Austria region has NA meetings in not 3 but 4 languages: EN, DE, FA and HU (Hungarian, sorry I left that language out in my previous message). In all meetings which are listed in Persian (Farsi fa) the meetings are listed as bi-lingual German/Persian.

Previously there were meetings listed in German/English. As Austria normally is a German speaking country the English language is not assumed as the default meeting language.

A screenshot (dropbox.com) from the Southern German NA Region website (they publish the meeting guide as a pdf)

At first we would use the meetingguide in English with a multi language wordpress site (maybe WPGlobus – Multilingual Everything, or Multilanguage by BestWebSoft) the goal would be to have different language front ends for the Meeting Guide (perhaps different plugins for each language frontend calling the same meeting data?)

    Thanks again!
