    Hi Jonathan,

I checked this plugin but I am a bit confused: as far as I know Gravity Forms offer options to setup a thankyou page after the user has sent a form. Using this unique thankyou URL you are able to add necessary tags inside Google Tag Manager without any further coding on your site.

Could you give me a specific use case where you are not able to handle your tags using purely Google Tag Manager tools?

    Cheers,
    Thomas

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes you can setup a thank you page for your forms and yes it is technical possible to setup each a rule up for each form in GTM or copy and paste javascript event code into the thankyou page. But teaching clients how to add the javascript seams error prone or me manually setup each form seams like extra work when a client could enter the event info (cat, action, label etc.) into a field when setup the form and then on submission it trickers the Form listener to capture all form data.

This feature is not so much about adding new functionality but more about making the functionality easier to use.

    Thanks
    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,

Since I am not a Gravity Forms user I still can not see what event codes need to be added to the thankyou page after form submission. Would you be so kind and contact be @ duracelltomi.com?

It would be great if you could show me a real life example so that I can better understand how my plugin could make your life easier.

i would like to add that it would be amazing if we could add triggers for ajax forms using gravity forms. sometimes we need to not have a thank you page.

@duracelltomi, ideally we would love to be able to have datalayer pushes on form submission, whether a thank you page or an ajax form submission.

This is great article on how one can do that right now by adding javascript in the ajax confirmation message, buts not the cleanest way of doing it.

This is another plugin that does something similar but specifically for google analytics event triggers

ideally, it would be best to have all GTM configuration within the one plugin, which is why yours is so awesome. If it can be extended for Gravity Forms, it would be incredible.

If you would like support or testing help, please send me a message. I used Gravity Forms and GTM at my agency extensively.

    Hi Mohamed,

Just a quick follow-up on this: I just released a new plugin version with some important bug fixes. I would like to speed up development in the coming weeks. The next version will focus on improvements of enhanced ecommerce. After this version I will have a look at Gravity Forms support.

    Thanks Thomas
Much appreciated and looking forward to it in the new year, wishing you all the best, and again if you need support or help testing or reviewing, let me know
