Feature Request: Allow uploading media
-
Hi again, Nikola!
Now that you’ve made scheduling appointments keyboard-accessible, we’re loving your plugin! So much so that we’re thinking of other sites where we could use it.
One thing that we would find useful would be to allow people to upload an image when they schedule an appointment. In our case, we’re considering using the plugin to schedule ads in an online publication, and we need a way to associate the ad’s art with the ad request. But I could imagine this being useful in other circumstances, too. For example, scheduling an appointment with a car repair shop, it would be handy to include a photo of the damage. Or scheduling appts with a pet groomer, it might be nice include a photo of the pet.
I see that in Settings > Customize you allow us to add Custom form fields, which is a fabulous feature! Would it be possible to enhance that functionality and let us add a custom field for media (images, pdf’s, …)?
Assuming you could do that would be even more fabulous if there were a hook, either server-side in PHP or client-side in Javascript, that would trigger when the media was uploaded, so that we could do some validation. In our case we’d need to verify the dimensions of image uploaded. A validation hook isn’t mandatory, but it would certainly be nice.
Thanks for your consideration of this request. And thanks again for a great plugin!
