Feature request, allow use of custom attachment field to omit selected images

If someone shows an interest in buying an image, I want to allow them to view galleries that only contain images that are for sale. I envision creating a custom field in attachments, let’s call it “omit_image”. Then in Meow Gallery, I’d enter “omit_image” in the “field to use to omit images”. The only other thing necessary would be a switch in the gallery config to turn the feature on or off.
This way I could set up galleries that are subsets of my “normal” galleries to use for building a shopping side, eliminating a lot of double effort.
I know it’s a tall order; alternately, is there a function I can alter where the gallery images are originally processed in the scheme?
