Feature request: Allowing comments for To Do list items

  • A nice feature would be to allow for the isolation of To Do items on the front end with the comment section displayed to allow for comments and discussion on a single item.

    Perhaps the item, when displayed in the list on the front end, could be converted to a permalink linking to the individual item itself. Overall, being able to have some discussion about to do items would be useful and taking advantage of WP’s commenting system would be a great way to do it. It would also lay a great foundation to make it even more extensible with all the commenting-enhancement plugins that are out there.

    I would be interested in knowing what your thoughts are on this.

    That’s a nice idea. I’m currently working on a rewrite that will make it easier to change how things are displayed and it will be easier to customize things.
