    Request:

It would be great if you could update your plugin to allow the conversion of images to the WebP format in the free version of your plugin, and to the AVIF format in the Pro version of your plugin. The AVIF images would reside in the WordPress Media folder. There’s no need to host the images (WebP and AVIF formats) via CDN.

    Reasons:

    1. Many free plugins already offer the option to convert images to the Webp format (unlimited images) so there’s little incentive to buy the Pro version of your plugin.
    2. WordPress 6.5 (and up) now provides AVIF support.
    3. AVIF is now compatible with all major browsers.
    4. This particular WebP to AVIF conversion tool (code) can be used as a benchmark to integrate AVIF into your plugin. Best code ever.
    5. Given your ability to keep things simple, please expect many customers to switch from Free to Pro once your plugin is updated.

    Thank you!
