Feature request: define license language for links

    This is, well, a very late reply, but I still haven’t figured out the most efficient way to do this as there are several things to take into consideration, for example CC has stopped offering ported licenses, the wordpress installation might be localized or a multilingual plugin might be used, etc.

    As I see it, before going ahead with an implementation of the requested feature, I’ll have to add support for multilingual plugins first. I’ve added it in my todo list, but there is no ETA.

    Hi,

    It would be very difficult for the plugin to automatically make a decision about the language. The solution I’m thinking of is the availability of a filter hook, which can be used to manually append the deed.COUNTRY_CODE part to the license URLs.

    It will be possible to filter the license URL in v1.8.14 and append the language specific part, eg deed.el.
