Feature request: Different closed messages

  • It would be great if we would be able to specify different closed messages depending on if the business has been open earlier today, will open or will be closed all day.

    Eg:
    “Closed for the day” when the business has been open
    “Will open at [time]” when the business will open
    “Closed today” when its a holiday or another day when the business is closed

    Hi @edvind,

    The only question with some of your suggestions: is it worth the extra processing time?

    To accommodate for the current features, the plugin already performs a few conversions/checks before displaying messages. If I add your requests, I’d have to implement at least 3 more checks. That’s no big deal of course, but I’m a fan of keeping things as lightweight as possible.

    I wonder if these features would be worth it? How many people actually want to display ‘closed for the day’ as opposed to just ‘we’re closed now’ (or similar).

    I agree with your 2nd suggestion: ‘Will open at [time]’ is a useful feature. It will likely be implemented in the PRO version. If I have extra time, I may port it to the free version as well.
