[feature request] different excerpt lengths for desktop and mobile (breakpoint)

  • Hello,

    My theme uses a slider for the homepage and if the excerpt is to long, this makes the slider ugly so i’ve switched of the excerpt for mobile view.
    But it would be nicer to have only less words at mobile screens.

    Have you any hint or may be this will be a feature for the nice plugin?

    Hi @wp-henne

    The simplest approach here is to simply limit the height of the excerpt container and hide the text outside of the boundaries.

    Send over the URL to the website and let me know how many lines you want to be displayed on mobile and I’ll send over the CSS code you need.
