Feature request – disable gzip compression for certain browsers.
-
I have W3 Total Cache running alongside eStore, and custom download links throw errors for users of particular browsers (for instance IE 8 or below). The problem is, browsers which don’t support gzip compression treat links, which are of the format https://www.somedomain.com/download.php?xxxxxxxxx (with the Xs representing an appended parameter), as actual pages instead of running the script. Could you add an option to disable gzip for specific browsers? That’d be a huge help. Thanks!
