Feature Request: Disable auto-sliding

    Hi !

    I love to put testimonials/quotes in BIG in the middle of the page.
    And when I have several quotes, I love to have sliders.

    The problem is that when we are reading a paragraph below the testimonials set in random with auto-refresh, it moves, because the testionmals above (even if not visible in the viewport) are auto refreshing.

    I guess the simplest solution against this would be to have an option to not allow auto-refresh. Testimonials would be loaded only if user click on arrows.

    WHat do you think of that?

    Hi X-Raym,

    You can simulate this by specifying the “speed” option within the shortcode for the slide duration by setting it to a high number (in milliseconds). 90000 milliseconds will equal 90 seconds. Use any number you see appropriate.

    Example: [bne_testimonials_slider speed=”90000″]

    Another option you have is using the “smooth” option. Since you said that content after the slider moves due to each testimonial being a different height. If you set this to false, then the height of the testimonial slider will be the that of the tallest testimonial message and not change height.

    Example: [bne_testimonials_slider smooth=”false”]

    Actually, the smooth=false solution must be a nice solution ?? I wasn’t aware of it!

    Anyway, I hope you will keep my original idea somewhere… I think it can be a nice behavior for some projects ??
