Like I described it in my review, it would be a huge improvement if the system could preserve the current editing (scroll/cursor) position after saving. With such a feature, the plugin would come close to perfection.

I can see at least two ways in which this could be achieved:

    1. Add a button to the editor, which would save/update the post via AJAX, thus not leaving the page and obviously preserving the editor position. WordPress already has this functionality built in; the Auto Save feature uses it. Perhaps there’s a way to hook into that.
    2. Another option could be to actually save the position information, retrieve it on the next load, and then scroll to it.

Is this something anyone could look into? I truly believe it to be important. Thanks again for a great plugin!

    flixflix,

Thanks for the detailed request! I will look into what it would take to add this in to the next release of WP Editor.
