Feature Request: Email contents of form (not just a notification)

  • My client is excited to be switching to Google Forms, so this is a big help. Thank you.

    We are capturing leads and sending them to sales people. The contact form plugin that we were using sends an email with the full contents of what was submitted.

    It would be great if they could get an email with the full form submission using Google Forms and/or with your plugin.

    There really isn’t an easy way to do this because Google supports multi-page forms. The plugin would have to remember the response to an unknown number of fields across an unknown number of pages. While technically possible, it is nontrivial to do so.

    There are however a number of articles available that discuss how to set up Google Docs to send an email when a form is submitted from the Google side, that may be a solution to your need. This is just one of a bunch of things I found when searching for it.
