Could you extend the “Synchronisation & Metadata” settings to include IPTC/XMP headline as lightroom field to link for the WordPress title, caption, alt.text and description field?

I am using the headline for my image titles as this follows more the IPTC/XMP standard guidelines.

Top of my to-do list! Will stick this to the top of the support threads ?? The plugin will include a customization system, so any kind of IPTC field will be able to be linked to the WP ones. If anybody has anything to say about this feature, please let me know below.

This has been added in the latest version of the LR plugin. You can find it labelled as BETA in the download section on my website ?? Please try it.

Has this moved beyond the BETA stage?
What I would like as a feature is the ability to have galleries be automatically built in WordPress based on the content of a field in LR.
    For example using LR:Keywords
Any image in LR with the keyword History would be create a gallery called History.
A picture with LR keywords: History,Edgartown would show in a WP gallery called History, One called Edgartown and one that would include both History and Edgartown

Yes, it has been working for quite a while now ??

What I would like as a feature is the ability to have galleries be automatically built in WordPress based on the content of a field in LR.

You should play with the Post Types extension in the WP/LR Sync. You can connect everything to post types and taxonomies and there are a few options.

But the way of creating galleries based on the keywords wouldn’t be natural to LR at all. If you want a gallery to be created in WP, you need to create a collection in LR. It would be possible to create an extension that does this though with the WP/LR Sync API.
