Feature Request: Finer control for updates

    I hide certain plugins from clients to make sure they don’t mess with them or update them but even if I hide them from the plugins page, they show up in the Updates page. Anyway to hide them based on capabilities or roles?

    On a tangent – anyway to remove the # of available updates shown in the wordpress admin menu right next to the Plugins menu item?

    Hi,

    You can make a screenshot and indicate in the screenshot what you want to hide?

    The Update Manager component should disable updates on all pages, this does not work for you?

    It’s more of a feature request. Update Manager does disable updates, what I want is to keep updates available but to hide them from the Updates page. This might be completely out of scope for you: https://imgur.com/A30Atzi
