Follow up notification on posts

I cannot seem to find a plug-in for what I am needing. I am looking for a post follow up, reminder, or post update notification feature that I can add to any post for future revising/updating purposes. For instance, I want to post about an organization and I want to check up on them in six months or maybe a year. I want to be reminded in my WordPress admin when that time comes around so I may contact the organization I wrote about to see if any changes need to be made to the post. I hope my explanation is understood properly. Thanks for your help.
