    Hello, Tobias.

I am really enjoying TablePress and have already given a 5 Star rating. Thank you for the great plug-in.

I have searched through the documentation, FAQs, and the forum, and have not found an answer, or if anyone else has requested this feature.

I am only using one column/row for my tables, and then I use the short code to put it into a specific place in a multi-column page in Elementor. If I need to make a change to the content, I can simply change it in TablePress and not have to edit the whole page in Elementor.

My request is, would it would be possible to make it so that when you click on the column/row prior to clicking on “Advanced Editor” it knows you already clicked a box and just open the “Advanced Editor” without asking you to click on it, then having to click “Okay” and click it again? I can understand if it would be too difficult to do that, but since I’m only using one box, it would be easier to go right to it.

I made a screen recording of me doing it to show you what I mean. There is no sound on this clip but you can see where I click.

Thanks again for the great plug-in, and I can understand if it’s not possible to implement that.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I see what you mean, and I would love to do it like that, but unfortunately, TablePress can not detect in which cell the cursor was in before the “Advanced Editor” button was clicked. Therefore, it has to be this way around.

However, you will only get this dialog message once per page load, i.e. as soon as you use the “Advanced Editor” multiple times, you will not see the message every time.

In addition, there is another trick: If you click into a cell while holding down the “Shift” key, you will directly get the “Advanced Editor” ??

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thank you, Tobias.

The shift click is what I was needing. If it is in the documentation, I didn’t see it.

Thanks again for the great plugin.
