• Hey,

First of all: I just found Nooz and started playing around – I like it alot, as it offers the functionality that totemapp.com wants to charge good money for a) free and b) fully integrated into WordPress.

I just posted my first question / bug-report here and won’t repeat it here.

    Some questions:

    1. Do you list press clippings only chronologically? No possibility to feature great listings over quick mentionings? How does your backend support prioritizing that and/or seperate by outlet (as we have seperate clippings spreadsheets for our two sites) – ideally a tag based system.
    2. do you support different media types? We got featured in TV (YouTube clippings) and radio (Link to SoundCloud recording) and some articles about us came with AMAZING photography, for others I’d prefer the media logo over a ‘preview’.

Not sure if I got every feature right so far – The result you can see in action at the bottom of https://www.beerhouse.co.za/press/

Any idea how to fix that?
    Cheers,
    Randolf

An extension of my 2nd point I realized, that I deal with offline media fairly often and an integrated file upload would be great, obviously for the regular WordPress media library.

Displaying JPG/PDF/PNG attachments of scanned articles would be prime, I can now only imagine using a link to the upload as the article link, but that’s not really ideal, as it will not use a gallery view.

Again, thank you for the feedback. This is really valuable to us. We are building out the core plugin to be very usable and feature rich. “Featured images” will be enabled in our soon to be released v0.8.0 a long with related sorting features (your point #1)

v0.8.0 brings some new features with it, see the change log for more info.

Primarily we have implemented a priority feature which allows for “pinned” release or coverage.

I will keep this post open, as we explore other features: taxonomies/categories and a more expanded press-coverage post type.
