Insert the HTML code for a table from the post/page editor

Hello,

I guess (I hope) this has been requested numerous times (well, in my opinion it is an important matter) but I haven’t find any recent posts about it. Sorry about the reiteration if it has already been addressed recently.

I think it would be very helpful to have a button on the post/page editor to insert the code for a table based on the number of columns and rows the user wants. So far, we have to insert the code manually or rely on plugins that in most cases are designed for more complicated tasks than this one.
