    Hi,
    thanks for your request.

The desired feature is already available:
If you create a new page and place the tag [geolocation] in the editor, it will be replaced by a map containing all geopositions of your posts. In case you would furthermore filter the map positions, you may put a custom page attribute to filter the category name of the displayed posts.

Please tell me, if that is what you had in mind or if I misunderstood your request.

    BR,
    Yann

Super, that was exactly what I was looking for. I had clearly misunderstood this possibility ??

Nice to hear. Maybe I will need to better document how to do things….?

@ymichel: First of all thank you very much for this Plugin!

I tried to create a map that shows all geo-tagged posts at once like described and first I always tried to use it inside a post and not on a page. So if anyone else also fails there like me (as a WordPress newbie) I hope this helps.

One thing I don’t understand is how to put a custom page attribute to filter the category name of the displayed posts. Could you please explain how to achieve that?

    Best wishes

Well, inside a page, you choose to display ?custom fields“. Then you add one ?category“ field and fill the value with the category name you would like to display.

Thank you for your reply. For me it was very hard to find, but now I could find it:

    1. Open edit page
    2. Open 3-dot menu and choose “Preferences”
    3. Click on “Panels”
    4. Activate Additional: Custom fields
    5. Click “Show & Reload Page”

Well, yes it is a little hidden today. In previous releases, it was more present. Glad you could figure it out. So I assume, it is working, right?

Yes, it is working. Thank you! ??
