Feature Request: Mini Leagues

    Hello,

    I have an idea that I was hoping to run past you.

    I’d like to allow users to choose a mini league when they register, just to create a little bit of added spice! I think there are a few plugins that would allow me to do this. In my case, I would allow the user to select from a list of say 8 mini leagues for each department in our company e.g. sales, admin, accounts etc.

    What I am wondering is, how easy would it be to amend the shortcode for the overall rankings from this:

    [world-cup-predictor ranking=1 limit=999]

    to something like this:

    [world-cup-predictor league=1 ranking=1 limit=999]

    This amended shortcode would limit the ranking list to users who have registered for that mini league.

    Do you think that is possible?

    Well, I developed this functionality to the website https://www.bolaopaulista.com but using BuddyPress.

    I can develop something specific for creating leagues, but this could not be done for free, because I would need to devote a few days to create this new feature.

    If many users are interested in implementing this feature, I can create a project on a crowdfunding site to pay for the development of this resource. But if few users are interested, I can create a premium version of the plugin and sell it for $ 20 for this users.

    I started the development of this resource, but I noticed that it drastically affect the functioning of the script. I believe that the best solution would be to adapt the plugin to work with BuddyPress, allowing users to create their own groups and showing a flap of rank within groups.

    In this case, the site would be similar to https://www.vippredictor.com and would not need to create a page for each league guesses and use shortcodes to display the form of predictions of these leagues.
