Feature request: Mobile device css and js deactivation

  • Feature request for free and/or premium plugin. Include the ability to turn on or off css and js based on device screen size. In more than a few instances I’d prefer some plugins files not load at all on mobile devices.

    @amazemedia that’s one feature that I’ve added on the development list as you’re not the first one asking for it. Most likely it will be a Pro feature.

    This is quite challenging to make it work in all situations as plenty of things have to be taken into consideration including cached pages (from other plugins, hosting or Cloudflare etc.), plugins such as WPTouch, files merged into one combined CSS/JS file to reduce HTTP requests (not so used with HTTP/2, though still plenty of people are using it). JavaScript will likely be used to inject the files conditionally, depending on their location.
