• Sorry if there is a better place for this:

I have come across situations where I have an event post that has multiple dates and/or times and/or locations. I do not want to have to create duplicate posts each with a different date/time/location nor do I want to have to choose which date/time/location to use and exclude the others.

Here is such an example: link

The above link is for an upcoming event that if you follow it, shows that it has multiple dates with different times and locations. This is not a rare thing for my site, with trade shows and other festivals happening in the area often.

Sorry for placing more on your plate, however I believe this is an important feature that could benefit many. – Thanks

Hi, one of my colleague just asked me the same question this morning ??
As, WordPress supports multiple postmetas, I think it should not be too hard, but also make me think about recurrent events functionality.
The UI aslo must be revamped to allow multiple dates, so I prefer not to do it too quickly.

And no matter, feed back is always a good thing.

Not only multiple dates, multiple time and locations as well. Maybe duplicate the complete event menu for each added event to the post and make them collapsible to get them out of the way when moving on to the next event entry.

Here is an example of where multiple dates, multiple time and locations whould come in handy:

Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra heads out on Tour West
This week the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra heads out in the region for its semi-annual TBSO on Tour. This week the TBSO heads west, stopping in Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Kenora to perform community and education concerts and lead masterclasses under the direction of guest conductor Adam Johnson.

School concerts will take place at The Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre (Dryden, ON), Pelican Falls First Nations High School (Sioux Lookout, ON), and Knox United Church (Kenora, ON).

It goes on with greater details of what times and where. As it is now I have to make duplicate posts for each time and location (multiplying the posts needed).

I have been getting more and more of these types of posts (trade shows, concerts, etc.), please consider moving this feature request up in priority.
