    Excellent plugin, thanks a lot for sharing! I use a lot of your plugins and love how they do the job without any bloat or hassle. I do wish this plugin had the ability to open the links in new tabs. I feel like that’s a common enough use case it would be very helpful and nice to do that without needing a separate plugin. Please consider it!

    Unfortunately from a technical perspective adding that feature adds a lot more complexity to the plugin that I’d prefer to avoid. The plugin I forked to create this has that feature so you could try that

    Alternatively you could use a plugin to open all external m links in a new window or tab (there are a few of those)
