Feature request – notification acknowledgement

Hi there, thanks for creating this plugin. I have a plugin action change request.

Currently when the notification shows, there is a drop down and clocking on that drop down takes you to the item that the person favourited.

Right now clicking on that does not remove the notification and you have to click on the number in order to go to the notification and mark it as read or delete it.

I think once you click on the dropdown that should automatically mark the notification as read.
