Feature request: Notification bar type popup

  • This is a fantastic plugin!

    I would like to request a feature which is to have a “notification bar” type popup as well.
    I have tried creating a notification bar using the flyout option, but it’s not quite right.
    For example I am missing a “hide/show” option where today you only have the “x” for hiding the flyout again.
    Also, at least in my theme (Infinity Pro) I cannot make my modified flyout notification full width.
    I could probably do some CSS hacking to make that work, but I think a much better option would be if we had a “notification bar” popup type available, as this would also eliminate our requirement for an additional notification plugin.

    If this was implemented as a premium feature I would be willing to pay for it as well or just support the development of this plugin.

    Hi there!

    Yeah, this feature was on the roadmap, but there hadn’t been much demand for it – so it was pushed down the list.

    I was trying to in fact make a basic solution by allowing folks to do exactly what you’re describing (flyout modal, alignment to top/middle + 100% width). But you’re right, a better solution would be a proper notification bar popup type.
