Feature Request: Open Global Comment Tracking System

I would like it if comment forms had an additional field where I could specify a url pointing to a special file on my wordpress blog so that when I comment on somebody else’s site I could have a copy of my comment simultaneously posted to a special area of my own blog.

Many times I’ve had to google my nickname to remind myself of something I once said on another site. I write a lot of comments and very little on my own blog.

It would be nice to have the option of automatically having anything I write anywhere be sent to my blog (or some other service) for backup.

This is actually something I’d like to see all blogging and forum platforms (and sites like digg & slashdot) cooperate on.
